SHOW HISTORY The Cape Cod & the Islands Gift show was first conceived in 1993 by a nationwide group or sales reps and manufacturers with the idea of bringing a National Class Resort Gift Show directly to the front door of the thousands of buyers from the area in and around Cape Cod and the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. The show attracts exhibitors and buyers from as far away as Oregon and California and other resort areas nationwide because of the unusual coastal and nautical flavor of the show. In addition to the vast selection of merchandise available, exhibitors and buyers have also found that it is the ideal time of the year to visit beautiful Cape Cod, taking advantage of "off season" rates for a mini vacation, and there is no place better to be than Cape Cod on St. Patrick's day. The show has become a regular buying venue for gift shops, card shops, attractions, museums, state and national parks, pharmacies, department stores, distributors, mail order houses and chain stores. Manufacturers and Sales Companies will be featuring such products as gifts, accessories, coastal products, nautical products, imprinted T-shirts, sportswear, souvenirs and much more, and all available for Spring delivery. The "New Products" section of the show is the ideal place to discover those new and unusual products not found anywhere else. |
